| On Saturday, September 19th, the Vista Volunteer Fire Department once again participated in the annual Lewisboro Library Fair.
Throughout the day, Vista Fire Department personnel welcomed community members and provided tours of our Fire Apparatus and Ambulances, giving children and adults the opportunity to sit inside the vehicles, see some of the equipment we carry, and learn more about how our volunteers respond to Fire and EMS emergencies throughout the community.
With Fire Prevention Week approaching, our members also distributed fire prevention and safety materials while speaking with residents about ways they can help keep their homes and families safe. Department personnel also discussed the benefits of joining the Vista Volunteer Fire Department and the many different opportunities available for community members interested in volunteering as a Firefighter, EMT, or in another supporting role.
The Vista Volunteer Fire Department is proud to participate in community outreach events such as the Lewisboro Library Fair. These events provide us with an opportunity to connect with our neighbors, promote fire and life safety, and introduce members of the community to the volunteers and equipment that serve them throughout the year.
We would like to thank the Lewisboro Library and everyone involved with organizing the fair for once again including us in this great community tradition!
