If you are 16 years or older and reside in the Vista Fire District or an adjacent New York State or Connecticut fire district, you may be eligible for membership in the Vista Fire Department (Fire districts that are adjacent to Vista Fire District No. 1 include South Salem, Pound Ridge, New Canaan, Wilton, and Ridgefield).

For more information stop by the Vista Firehouse (377 Smith Ridge Road) Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm and ask to see District Manager Tom Ritchey, or stop by any Monday night from 6:30pm - 9pm.

Our application process is fairly simple. You must complete an application form (see below) along with your $5 application fee.
