| Mark your calendars! Our 2026 community events schedule has been released:
- Saturday, May 16th from 5pm–8pm: Join us for our annual “Pasta Night & Open House!” Tickets are $12 for Adults and $8 for Children 8 and under (all you can eat). Purchase tickets at the door, online at VistaFD.org/Tickets, or by scanning the QR code on the flyer.
- Sunday, September 13th at 9am: We will hold a wreath-laying ceremony at our September 11th Memorial behind the Vista Firehouse (377 Smith Ridge Road). All community members are welcome to attend.
- Saturday, October 3rd from 5pm–8pm: Come out for our annual “Pizza Night & Open House!” The cost is $20 per meal (includes one pizza — Cheese or Pepperoni — salad bar, and 2 soft drinks). Buy tickets at the door, online at VistaFD.org/Tickets, or by scanning the QR code on the flyer.
- Halloween Night (Saturday, October 31st) from 5pm–8pm: Stop by and “Trick or Treat at the Vista Firehouse!” We will be handing out candy, fire prevention materials, offering Halloween-themed activities, and giving apparatus tours for all ages.
- Saturday, December 5th from 9am–5pm: Kick off the holiday season with our annual “Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive!” Donate a new, unwrapped toy at the Vista Firehouse to help children in need this holiday season. Santa Claus will be on hand for photos, and we will also have cookie-decorating stations, a “make your own ornaments” station, and tours of the Vista Fire Department apparatus.
- Saturday, December 12th from 9am–12pm: We’ll wrap up the year with our annual “Candy Cane Run!” Join us as we bring Santa Claus around the community on our apparatus. Children will receive a candy cane and have the opportunity to take photos with Santa and the fire engine. Please arrive at your chosen stop 10 minutes early. A suggested $5 donation can be made at VistaFD.org/Donate.
