Probationary Firefighter Paul Rossi Completes Ambulance Driver Training
Vista Fire Department, March 04
The Vista Fire Department is proud to announce that Probationary Firefighter Paul Rossi is now qualified on our ambulances.
Probationary Firefighter Rossi successfully completed the ambulance driver training program, which included over 8 hours of behind-the-wheel driving and training on hospital operations. Probationary Firefighter Rossi will now begin training to drive Engine 142 moving forward.

This Sunday morning, the Vista Fire Department held a Firefighter Skills Class along with a driver training session for members working toward qualification as Apparatus Drivers on Utility 256.

Following the snowstorm that impacted our area on February 22nd–23rd, members of the Vista Fire Department were out the following day clearing snow and ice from dry hydrants throughout the District.

As today’s snowstorm continues to impact our area, members of the Vista Fire Department have been standing by at the Vista Firehouse since 3:00 PM to ensure uninterrupted fire and EMS coverage for our community.
