On the morning of Sunday, September 13th, the Vista Fire Department held our annual 9/11 Memorial Service at the Vista Firehouse. Each year, our Department pauses to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, including the 343 FDNY Firefighters, 23 NYPD Officers, and 37 Port Authority Police Officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
