The Vista Fire Department is proud to congratulate EMT Skyla Warren on successfully completing her probationary period through the VFD Mentor Program!

Since joining the department, EMT Warren has achieved several important milestones, including being cleared as a Lead EMT. Throughout her probation, EMT Warren has been an active participant in both emergency calls and training drills, and she has been mentored by Firefighter/EMT Andrew Korman.

The Vista Fire Department Mentor Program pairs new recruits with experienced members to guide them through their initial period of service. This program provides critical support as new members familiarize themselves with call response protocols, attend weekly Monday drills, and prepare for relevant coursework in their first year with the department.
