The Vista Fire Department proudly announces the arrival of our newest ambulance.
Ambulance 84B2, a 2024 Ford F-550, was custom-built by American Emergency Vehicles (AEV) in Jefferson, North Carolina. It is an AEV TraumaHawk Series Type I ambulance, designed in collaboration with Specialty Ambulance of East Farmingdale, New York, and the Vista Fire Department’s New Ambulance Committee.
Ambulance 84B2 was officially placed in service on Monday, August 4th, and is now ready to respond to emergencies throughout the Vista Fire District. It replaces a 2004 Chevrolet/Braun that proudly served our community for more than two decades.
We’re excited to showcase our new ambulance at the South Salem Fire Department’s Fireman’s Parade and Carnival this Wednesday at 7:00 PM, as well as during upcoming open house events at the Vista Fire Department.
The Vista Fire Department is a Fire & EMS agency that responds to an average of 300 calls per year, proudly serving the residents and visitors of the Vista Fire District.
