Vista Fire Department Foremen for 2021-2022 fiscal year announced

The Vista Fire Department is proud to announce the following Foremen taking office effective May 1, 2021 and lasting until April 30, 2022 after being appointed by Chief Jeff Peck for this upcoming fiscal year:

Lead Foreman Adam Bartley - Engine 141
Foreman Brian Sferra - Engine 142
Foreman Patrick Healy - Engine 143
Foreman Dan Castelhano - Tanker 4
Foreman Eleanor Hersam - Ambulance 22
Foreman Ryan Ruggiero - Ambulance 25

Here is some information on the Vista Fire Department Foremen for 2021-2022:

Lead Foreman Adam Bartley - Foreman Bartley has been with the Vista FD since May 2015, winning the VFD Rookie of the Year award in 2016-2017 and oversees the day-to-day operations for Engine 141. Foreman Bartley has been a Foreman in the Vista Fire Department since May 2016.

Foreman Brian Sferra - Foreman Sferra has been with the Vista FD since December 2019 and oversees the day-to-day operations for Engine 142. Foreman Sferra begins his 1st year as a Foreman in the Vista Fire Department.

Foreman Patrick Healy - Foreman Healy has been with the Vista FD since September 2016, winning the VFD Firefighter of the Year award in 2019-2020 and oversees the day-to-day operations for Engine 143. Foreman Healy has been a Foreman in the Vista Fire Department since December 2018.

Foreman Dan Castelhano - Foreman Castelhano has been with the Vista FD since May 2016, winning the VFD Rookie of the Year award in 2017-2018, the VFD Firefighter of the Year award in 2018-2019 and oversees the day-to-day operations for Tanker 4. Foreman Castelhano has been a Foreman in the Vista Fire Department since September 2017.

Foreman Eleanor Hersam - Foreman Hersam has been with the Vista FD since August 2017, winning the VFD Rookie of the Year award in 2018-2019 and oversees the day-to-day operations for Ambulance 22. Foreman Hersam has been a Foreman in the Vista Fire Department since May 2020.

Foreman Ryan Ruggiero - Foreman Ruggiero has been with the Vista FD since November 2015, winning the VFD Rookie of the Year award in 2016-2017, the VFD Firefighter of the Year award in 2017-2018, the VFD EMT of the Year award in 2019-2020 and oversees the day-to-day operations for Ambulance 25. Foreman Ruggiero has been a Foreman in the Vista Fire Department since May 2020.

All Foremen positions are appointed by the Chief of Department.
