This week's Monday drill was a "Stopping The Bleed Procedures" drill for our members.

The "Stopping The Bleed Procedures" drill had our members practicing how to stop a bleeding injury. Vista Fire Department personnel practiced how to apply pressure to a wound, how to pack a wound to control the bleeding and how to properly apply a tourniquet. By learning the following objectives during this drill our Vista Fire Department personnel are now better equipped to respond to calls where a bleeding injury has occurred.
