Extrication Drill for 07/22/24

This week's Monday drill was "Extrication" for our members.

The "Extrication" drill had our members focusing on removing a patient during a motor vehicle accident. Vista Fire Department personnel practiced patient removal by utilizing equipment such as a cervical collar and backboard while also practicing good communication throughout the incident. This type of training helped prepare our personnel on properly removing a patient during a motor vehicle accident incident.
