| This week's Monday drill was "ASHER" for our members.
The "ASHER" drill prepared our Vista Fire Department personnel in responding to Active Shooter / Hostile Event Response (ASHER) related incidents. Vista Fire Department personnel reviewed the basic principles of the rescue task force program and also learned how to apply tourniquets, hemostatic gauze & dressings for a wound. Lastly our members practiced carry procedures on removing wounded patients during these types of incidents.
The Vista Volunteer Fire Department is looking for new members! For more info on joining, click here: https://www.vistafd.org/content/become/ |
