Quick Attack 2 (Q.A.2)
The Q.A. is our multi-purpose quick attack and rescue truck. It is first
due engine with an ambulance to car accidents and carries the hydraulic
"Jaws of Life" (or Lukas rescue tool) powered by gasoline and electric
compressors. It boasts a Hale pump and 500 gallons water on-board, a
chain saw, a 16" circular "Partner" saw, inflatable "lift bags", and extra
Scott Airpack bottles to serve as a support truck during structure fires.
It is designed specifically to be maneuverable on our many back roads, and
to carry a lot of punch wherever it is needed. The "Quack" as it is
sometimes called is powered by a Caterpillar Diesel.
