Welcome to the official Home Page of the
Board of Fire Commissioners
of Vista Fire District No. 1
in the Town of Lewisboro located in
Westchester County,
New York.
It is the mission of the Board of Fire Commissioners
to manage Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services for
the Vista Fire District, which is comprised (roughly)
of the Hamlet of Lewisboro and the Hamlet of Vista,
for the Town of Lewisboro.
Among other tasks, the Board is responsible for the purchase
and maintainance of Firefighting, Rescue, and EMS equiptment
to be used by the Vista Volunteer Fire Department in
the fulfillment of its duties serving the Fire District. It
is also responsible for providing necessary Fire/Rescue/EMS
training to the Volunteers.
The Vista Volunteer Fire Department is the not-for-profit
volunteer organization chartered to provide emergency services
to the Fire District.
