Led by Carmel VAC Captain/Vista FD Mutual Responder Dave Jacobsen, the VFD spent this week's Monday Night Drill taking the American Heart Association's (AHA) First Aid course.
The AHA First Aid course taught all Vista FD personnel on how to assess the emergency, how to make decisions on proper care and gave them an opportunity to perform hands-on training based on all the rescue scenarios in the course. The VFD takes the AHA First Aid course once a year and practices all the scenarios taught in the course throughout the year during Monday Night drills.
If you would like to be part of our team at the VFD stop by the Firehouse any Monday night from 6:30pm - 9pm!
