| The Vista Fire Department is proud to announce two more apparatus drivers to our growing fleet, as Firefighter Phil Katz is now qualified on Rescue 13 while Probationary Firefighter Marc Baiocco is now qualified on our Ambulances!
Firefighter Phil Katz completed the Rescue 13 driver training by learning how to operate the Rescue's pump panel and getting 8 hours or more of "drive time" behind the wheel. FF Phil Katz will now move onto learning how to drive Engine 142 going forward.
Probationary Firefighter Marc Baiocco completed the Ambulance driver training by learning where all the roads in our Fire District are and getting the 8 or more necessary hours behind the wheel of both Ambulance 22 and Ambulance 25. Probationary FF Baiocco now moves onto to learning how to operate Rescue 13.
