This Sunday morning we held a "Firefighter Skills Class Webinar" for our weekly Sunday Training. This training had our members logging onto their computers due to the COVID-19 pandemic as the Vista Fire Department continues with holding online learning.

This Sunday's "Firefighter Skills Class Webinar" had our Firefighting personnel going over motor pump operations. Vista Firefighters conducted a virtual overview of a fire pump's functions by reviewing the transmission of a fire pump and how the pressure control system of a fire pump operates. This type of training is what will help our Firefighters who plan on attending the New York State Firefighter I program succeed in their class and for our Firefighters who have completed Firefighter I to keep up with their skills.
