This Sunday morning we held Driver Training for our members who are becoming Apparatus Drivers on the Ambulances, Engine 142, Engine 143 & Engine 141 for our weekly Sunday Training.

The Vista Fire Department Driver Training program helps prepare our members to become apparatus drivers on Tanker 4, Engine 141, Engine 142, Engine 143 and our Ambulances. Members will drive our apparatus for a required amount of hours and learn how to operate the apparatus on an emergency scene. When our members complete the driver training on a piece of apparatus, they then become a cleared driver and can drive the apparatus during a response.
