Over the last three weeks, the Vista Fire Department has had the opportunity to train alongside the Ridgefield (CT) Police Department and Ridgefield (CT) Fire Department during their annual Active Shooter / Hostile Event Response (ASHER) training. Vista Fire Department personnel learned about how the Police, Fire and EMS operations would respond during these types of emergencies. This type of training is what will help prepare our Vista Fire Department personnel in responding to Active Shooter / Hostile Event Response (ASHER) related incidents.

We would like to thank the Ridgefield Police Department and Ridgefield Fire Department for giving us the opportunity to participate in this training.
