On Thursday morning around 0615 hours, the Vista Fire Department was dispatched to a 1-car motor vehicle accident rollover with injuries at the intersection of Smith Ridge Road and Mill River Road.

The occupant self extricated prior to arrival and was evaluated by Vista EMS, with one patient taken to a nearby hospital via basic life support on the Vista Ambulance.

The Vista Fire Department, New York State Police Department & Lewisboro Police Department closed traffic on Smith Ridge Road and the scene was handed over to New York State Police shortly after 0915 hours.
