This week's Monday Night Drill was a "Ropes & Knots" drill for our Firefighters and a "Glucometry" drill for our EMTs.

The "Ropes & Knots" drill had our Firefighters reviewing how to do several knots such as Figure 8, Figure 8 on a bight, Figure 8 on a bend, clove hitch, half hitch, safety knot, becket bend, sheet bend and the hasty harness. They also practiced hoisting tools and equipment using the knots they were taught earlier in the night.

The "Glucometry" drill had our EMS personnel going over how to properly use the glucometer on a patient during a call. EMS personnel reviewed our glucometry protocol and practiced taking glucometer readings on a patient during medical treatment.
