This Sunday morning we held an "AHA CPR Class" and a "Bailout System PowerPoint presentation" for our weekly Sunday Training. The "Bailout System PowerPoint presentation" training led by Instructors from AAA Emergency Supply Co. reviewed the new Bailout System that the Vista Fire District recently purchased for our Interior Firefighters. Vista Firefighters learned about the new system by going over how to deploy the new system, how to properly maintain it and what will be expected of them when they complete the practical portion in a couple of weeks. With the completion of this course, the Interior Firefighters who attended this presentation will now participate in practical training where they will have to perform several bailouts. While the "Bailout System PowerPoint presentation" training was going on, the Vista Fire Department held an American Heart Association CPR class for several of our members. Our members take CPR on a yearly basis to properly serve the Vista Fire District #1 community.
