This past Sunday morning we held a "Firefighter Fundamentals Class" and Driver Training for our members who are becoming Apparatus Drivers on Tanker 4, Engine 142 & Engine 143.

This week's "Firefighter Fundamentals Class" had our Firefighters reviewing search & rescue operation techniques such as how to conduct a left or right handed search and how to properly rescue a patient or downed Firefighter. This type of training is what will help our Firefighters who plan on attending the New York State Firefighter I program succeed in their class and for our Firefighters who have completed Firefighter I to keep up with their skills.
