Vista FD responds to Motor Vehicle Accident on 12/28/17

On Thursday around 1730 hours, the Vista and South Salem Fire Departments were dispatched to a 2-car motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of Smith Ridge Road and West Lane. Once on scene, Vista Car 2561 requested the Ridgefield Fire Department's Ambulance to help with transporting patients. The occupants self extricated prior to arrival and were evaluated by Vista EMS, with one occupant refusing medical attention and three patients taken to nearby hospitals via basic life support on both Vista Ambulances, the Ridgefield Fire Department Ambulance was placed back in-service.

Vista Firefighters closed traffic on Smith Ridge Road and the scene was handed over to Lewisboro Police shortly after 1820 hours, at which point all Vista & South Salem Fire Department units were cleared from the scene and returned to service.
