Sunday Training for 12/10/17

This Sunday morning we held an "MPO Class" and an "EMT Fundamentals Class" for our weekly Sunday Training.

This week's "MPO Class" had our Firefighters learning how to draft with Engine 141 from the front suction while flowing to a ground monitor. This type of training is what will help our prospective Apparatus Drivers/MPOs become cleared drivers on Engine 141.

This week's "EMT Fundamentals Class" had our EMS personnel review how to properly prepare for EMS calls, how to gather the proper patient information and what type of equipment you will need for several different types of EMS calls. This type of training is what will prepare our EMT Candidates who are preparing themselves for a future EMT-Basic class and for our EMTs who have completed EMT-Basic to keep up with their skills.
