On Saturday April 22nd the Vista Fire Department opened it's Firehouse doors to the public for our "Spring Open House & Recruitment Day" event. The Vista Fire Department held tours of our Firehouse, gave out free batteries for smoke/CO detectors courtesy of Rings End and also held several demonstrations entailing such things like the gear a Firefighter wears and the purpose of each piece of equipment on our Ambulances. We at the Vista Fire Department would like to thank all those who attended the 2017 Spring Open House & Recruitment Day for making it a great success!
