This Sunday morning we held a "Firefighter Fundamentals Class" for our members who are currently attending Firefighter I and for our Firefighters who are keeping up with their basic skills. We also held Driver Training for our members who are becoming Apparatus Drivers/MPO's on Engine 141, Engine 142 & Engine 143.

Led by Lead Foreman Phil Katz & Foreman Marc Baiocco, this week's "Firefighter Fundamentals Class" went over the Firefighter harness, how to properly roll hose and they reviewed each of the five types of Building Construction in the Fire Service. This type of training is what will help our Firefighters who are currently attending the New York State Firefighter I program succeed in their class and for our Firefighters who have completed Firefighter I to keep up with their skills.
