We at the Vista Fire Department would like to congratulate Foreman Kevin Piro and Firefighter Phil Katz on their completion of Truck Company Operations yesterday at the Westchester County Fire Training Center.

Foreman Piro & Firefighter Katz completed the 24-hour course spanning the last month as they continue to expand their training since taking Firefighter I. Truck Company Operations is a course that properly teaches Firefighters the usage of ladder company equipment including ground ladder operations, the duties and responsibilities of a ladder company on the fireground, and the operation of specialized tools that go along with truck company operations.
