Last night the Vista Fire Department wrapped up their 2014 drill schedule by watching the FDNY documentary "Brotherhood" followed by our end of the year slide show put together by Foreman Brian Porco. Our Firefighter's & EMT's also enjoyed a nice dinner courtesy of the VFD Auxiliary to finish up this year.

Wrapping up our drill schedule by watching the FDNY documentary "Brotherhood" has been a tradition in the firehouse for several years due to the positive messages the film sends regarding the importance of working together to accomplish a common goal. The "Brother/Sister-hood" of the emergency services is extremely important to the Vista Fire Department and this documentary shows the strong bond among emergency service workers.

The Vista Fire Department trains every Monday night (following the 1st Monday of the month) starting at 7:30pm and if you would like to be part of our team at the VFD please click the "Become a Member" tab or call us at (914)-533-2727.
