Yesterday morning several members of the Vista Fire Department spent their Sunday loading up all the toys collected during our "Toys For Tots" drive on Saturday December 13th and delivering them to Elmsford, New York where "Toys For Tots" is stationed. We would like to thank all those who donated in the Town of Lewisboro at the Vista Firehouse, South Salem Firehouse and Golden's Bridge Firehouse on Saturday.

While other members were delivering the toys, several of our Firefighters spent the rest of their morning going over motor pump operations on Engine 141 and stretching hoselines to practice their techniques. The Vista Fire Department is in the process of adding new drivers and motor pump operators (MPO) to our fleet, so additional training outside of our regularly scheduled Monday Night Drill's is very important to help prepare these new drivers/MPOs for the fireground.

The Vista Fire Department is always looking for new members, if you would like to join our team click the "Become a Member" tab or call us at 914-533-2727.
