This Sunday morning we held a "MPO Class" for our members training to become Apparatus Drivers/MPO's and a "Firefighter Fundamentals Class" for our members who are preparing themselves to take Firefighter I this upcoming Winter/Spring.

Led by Capt. Mike Peck & Lt. Wilmer Cervantes, several of our members practiced pumping Engine 142 as we continue to develop new Apparatus Drivers/MPO for our Emergency responding vehicles. The members reviewed how to properly pump and draft with Engine 142 during this week's MPO Class.

Led by Lead Foreman Phil Katz & Foreman Marc Baiocco, this week's "Firefighter Fundamentals Class" reviewed "donning & doffing" their Firefighting gear and how to perform a "reduced profile." This type of training is what will prepare our Firefighters for the New York State Firefighter I program several months from now.
