This weekend's training saw our EMT Trainee class held on Saturday, August 27th followed by Firefighter Fundamentals class & Driver Training held on Sunday, August 28th.

The EMT Trainee class was led by FF/EMT PJ Larson & Foreman Mike Canil with the purpose of helping prepare our EMT Trainee's for EMT-Basic class. Our EMT Trainee's reviewed Initial Patient Assessment/Contact during this recent EMT Trainee class.

This week's Firefighter Fundamentals class saw our Firefighters review how to go through a "2-minute drill" where they properly put their entire Firefighting gear & SCBA under 2 minutes. Following the "2-minute drill" our Firefighters went through an entire breathe down of the SCBA while walking throughout our Firehouse in their Firefighting gear.

Following Firefighter Fundamentals class, our members had a quick breakfast and then are perspective drivers currently training on Engine 142, Engine 141 and Rescue 13 got some more training hours as they continue to prepare themselves as cleared drivers on a specific piece of apparatus.
