Apparatus review headlines Monday Night Drill

Led by Captain Dan Cruz & Lieutenant Mike Peck, the Vista Fire Department completed their annual training on knowing the tools and equipment for all the fire apparatus in the Department during our weekly Monday night drill.

Throughout the year the Vista FD will go through each truck so both new & senior members get introduced/refreshed on all the tools and equipment on Engine 141, Engine 142, Tanker 4 and Rescue 13. Knowing how each piece of equipment works and where it is located on each truck is very important for the members of the Vista Fire Department. By completing an "Apparatus review" drill, the members are now better equipped to be prepared on emergency scenes when operating any of the fire apparatus in our Department.
