On Saturday April 23rd the Vista Fire Department opened it's Firehouse doors to the public for our "Open House & Recruitment Day" event. The Vista Fire Department went through tours of our Firehouse, showed off our apparatus, gave out free pizza courtesy of La Vista Restaurant and gave out free batteries for smoke/CO detectors courtesy of Rings End. We also welcomed Detective John Peters and Daisy The Arson Dog to the event as they performed several demonstrations for the public on how Daisy handles arson investigations on the Fireground. We at the Vista Fire Department would like to thank all those who attended the event, Detective John Peters, Rings End, La Vista Restuarant and Daisy The Arson Dog for making this past Saturday's event a great success!
