| Lt. Brian Porco led this week's Monday Drill instructing our Firefighters & EMT's on how to properly operate the communications (dispatch system, fireground radio, low band system & trunking system) in the Vista Fire Department. From how to use our dispatch system to properly utilizing our fireground radios during an emergency scene, all those in attendance were taught the importance of how effective communication helps mitigate any type of emergency the Vista Fire Department may respond to.
The Vista Volunteer Fire Department holds Monday drill every week following the first Monday of every month, if you would like to become a member stop by any Monday night from 6:30pm - 9pm or visit VistaFD.org and click the "Become a Member" tab for more details! |
