We at the Vista Fire Department would like to thank Foreman Kevin Piro for his time served with the Department since December 2013 and wish him the best of luck as he moves to Texas for a new job. Kevin Piro served as a Firefighter with us for the last year & a half overseeing Ambulance 22 (84B1) as its Foreman and was most recently recognized as our "Rookie of the Year" for 2014-2015.

Foreman Piro completed such classes as Firefighter I, Firefighter Survival, Truck Company Operations, Apparatus Operator: Emergency Vehicle Operations Class and was trained on driving the Ambulances, Rescue 13, Engine 142 & Engine 141 within the Vista Fire Department. Kevin was consistently in our Top 10 list of Call Responders & Drill Attendees during his time with us, helped train several of our newest drivers get cleared on our apparatus and was revered as one of the leaders within the Vista Fire Department.

Foreman Piro had an immense amount of passion, motivation & dedication towards the Vista Fire Department and served the Vista Fire District Community with great pride. While we will all selfishly miss him around the Vista Firehouse, we wish him nothing but the best of luck with this next chapter in his life!
