This week’s Monday night drill focused on "Search & Rescue" for our members.
During the drill, Vista Firefighters conducted search-and-rescue operations, locating a trapped patient inside a simulated structure fire and removing the patient to safety, where Vista EMS personnel were standing by outside to immediately provide medical care. This hands-on training helps firefighters prepare for the challenges of operating in smoke-filled, high-heat environments where rapid searches and safe extrications are critical. The Vista Fire Department is proud to provide both fire and EMS services, allowing our members to train side by side and strengthen teamwork in real-life situations.
