During the 2023 Vista Fire Department Annual Inspection Dinner, Ex-Chief William Dingee was honored for 40 years of service.

Ex-Chief William Dingee joined the Vista Fire Department back on July 6th, 1983 and has served as a Chief, Line Officer, Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician throughout his time with us. Even after 40 years of serving the Vista Volunteer Fire Department, Ex-Chief Dingee is still extremely active, consistently being one of our top responders each year. Ex-Chief Dingee is also one of our leadership's reliable resources when it comes to the emergency services offering great advice to our members serving in leadership positions in the Vista Volunteer Fire Department.

We as a Department are fortunate to still have Ex-Chief Dingee setting a hardworking example to us all.
