2022 Vista Fire Department Annual Fund Drive Letter

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

On behalf of the members of the Vista Fire Department, I would like to thank you for your generous support for our 2021 Fund Drive, and I respectfully ask that you make a contribution for this year, 2022.

The proceeds of this fund drive directly support the day to day running of the Fire Department, which includes things such as our recruitment operations and services for our current members.

The proceeds also go to our open house events that we hold during the year. This August, we held our annual picnic, where family members, and members of our community gathered at the firehouse to enjoy the good weather and even better food.

On September 11th we invited the community to join us in honoring our fallen heroes, with our 9/11 memorial service, and we were very lucky to have members of our community reach out and help us prepare, Including the local boy scouts troop who presented their flag retirement box during the service.

On October 15th, we held our annual pancake breakfast and open house event, and we were delighted that over 100 members of our community joined us in eating pancakes and learned some helpful tips for preventing fires at home, while also learning about the benefits of volunteering at the Vista Fire Department.
