At the Vista Fire District's June meeting, Chief Jeff Peck honored Firefighter Adam Ochs for his 45 years of service.

Firefighter Adam Ochs joined the Vista Fire Department back on July 6th, 1977 and has served as a Line Officer, Firefighter, EMT, Driver/Motor Pump Operator, House Officer and Commissioner throughout his time with us. Firefighter Ochs helped define the first era of EMS in the Vista Volunteer Fire Department becoming an active EMT when EMS was first starting out in our Department. Later on in his VFD career Firefighter Ochs served as a mentor for many members as they began their careers in the VFD and helped influence several members to join the military over the years.

We as a Department are fortunate to still have Firefighter Ochs setting a hardworking example to us all.

The Vista Fire Department would like to congratulate and thank Firefighter Adam Ochs for over 45 years of service to our Vista Fire District community!
