During the 2022 Vista Fire Department Annual Inspection Dinner, Firefighter Ron Egloff was honored for 45 years of service.

Firefighter Ron Egloff joined the Vista Fire Department back on June 7th, 1977 and has served as a Line Officer, Firefighter and Driver/Motor Pump Operator throughout his time with us. Even after 45 years of serving the Vista Volunteer Fire Department, Firefighter Egloff is still extremely active consistently being one of our top responders each year and being our most dedicated Ambulance driver. Firefighter Egloff can often be found detailing the history of the Vista Volunteer Fire Department and offering great advice to all the members serving in a leadership position in the VFD.

We as a Department are fortunate to still have Firefighter Egloff setting a hardworking example to us all.
