The Vista Fire Department is proud to announce that Firefighter/EMT Candidate Peter Sloan is now qualified on our Ambulances.

Firefighter/EMT Candidate Sloan completed the Ambulance driver training program by driving 8 hours or more behind the wheel and learning how to operate at nearby Hospitals. Firefighter/EMT Candidate Sloan will now move onto learning how to drive Engine 142 going forward.

The VFD is always looking for more drivers, whether it be for our Fire Apparatus or our Ambulances! If you're interested in serving the community and learning how to drive these emergency response vehicles please click the "Become a Member" tab at VistaFD.org!
