During the 2020 Vista Fire Department Annual Inspection Dinner, District Manager Tom Ritchey was honored for his 40 years of service.

District Manager Tom Ritchey joined the Vista Fire Department back on April 3rd, 1980 and has served as the Vista Fire District #1's District Manager for nearly 30 years. District Manager Ritchey, commonly known by many who have gone through his Meadow Pond Elementary School Fire Prevention Week program as "Fireman Tom," has been a common face in our community where he also serves as a Police Officer with both the Lewisboro & Pound Ridge Police Departments. Throughout District Manager Ritchey's 40 years of service with the Vista Fire Department he has also served as a Line Officer, Firefighter, EMT and Driver/Motor Pump Operator.

District Manager Ritchey is referred to by many as a mentor and a true example of the high standard all members of the Vista Fire Department should hold themselves to. We as a Department are fortunate to still have District Manager Ritchey offering his leadership, guidance and advice to us all.

The Vista Fire Department would like to congratulate and thank District Manager Tom Ritchey for his over 40 years of service to our Vista Fire District community!
