On Saturday, December 19th, the Vista Fire Department held their 2020 Annual Inspection Dinner. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire event was held virtually on Zoom. Additionally, Active Members and District Officers who elected to have a dinner were able to pick it up "curbside" from the Vista Firehouse prior to the virtual event on Zoom. At the conclusion of the virtual event, award winners were requested to return back to the Vista Firehouse to receive their award.

At the 2020 Vista FD Annual Inspection Dinner, the VFD awarded Captain Brian Porco and Foreman Elly Hersam with their President's Award.

Captain Brian Porco and Foreman Elly Hersam were honored with the President's Award in recognition of their response thus far during the COVID-19 pandemic. Captain Porco and Foreman Hersam have been instrumental during the COVID-19 pandemic helping aid our EMS response during this time.
