On Thanksgiving morning for the last 6 years, the Vista Fire Department along with their family and friends, have participated in the annual "VFD Turkey Bowl."

This morning was supposed to be "VFD Turkey Bowl VII" pitting "Team Line Officers" against "Team Foremen" but unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic we had to cancel the Vista Fire Department's tradition of playing Football on Thanksgiving. In honor of our annual "VFD Turkey Bowl" football game, we are sharing the group photos that have traditionally happened at the end of each game as we spend time with one another on Thanksgiving.

While one of our "VFD family traditions" has had to be shelved for this year, we wanted to take the time out to thank all of our volunteer first responders for all of their dedication throughout the year given the circumstances that surround us. Our members have had to improvise, adapt & overcome the challenges that stand before them during the COVID-19 pandemic and we could not be more proud of all their hard work protecting the Vista Fire District community.
