Vista FD responds to Motor Vehicle Fire on 10/15/20

On Thursday evening around 1700 hours, the Vista Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle fire near the intersection of West Lane and Stonewall Court along with the Lewisboro Police Department. Vista Fire Department personnel that were first on the scene updated the call to a fully involved car fire with the occupants out of the vehicle. Shortly thereafter Vista Engine 141 arrived and Vista Firefighters extinguished the car fire with an 1-3/4" hose line.

The Vista Fire Department closed traffic on West Lane and the scene was handed over to the Lewisboro Police Department shortly after 1800 hours. Additionally, Vista Engine 142 and Tanker 4 also arrived on location to help with water supply, traffic detail and additional personnel.

The Vista Fire Department would like to thank the Lewisboro Police Department for their assistance with yesterday's motor vehicle fire call.
