This past Saturday we held our final "Birthday Parades" for those celebrating a birthday in the Vista Fire District to spread some birthday cheer and delivered the final gifts to our John Jay High School "Adopt A Seniors!"

The Vista Volunteer Fire Department would like to wish Nicholas Mirizio, Evan Castelhano, Julian Gambelli, Madison Knoop and Carly Smith a very Happy Birthday! Thank you again for making us part of your birthday celebration this past weekend!

We would also like to congratulate JJHS Seniors Connor Tway and Samuel Teich on graduating from John Jay High School and we wish them all the best in their bright futures!

The Vista Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank everyone who participated in our "Birthday Parades" program over the last 12 weeks as we came together to spread some cheer to our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. In total, the Vista Volunteer Fire Department delivered 68 birthday parades with parades celebrating from age 2 to 99! We will forever remember the smiles on all the birthday parade recipients each time we rolled up for their parade!

While the "birthday parades" were put together to help put smiles on our community's faces during a tough time, in turn the Vista Volunteer Fire Department was just as equally touched by the outpouring of support we have received as we drove down the roads from parade to parade. Your waves, cheers and hand clapping for us meant the world to us all.
