This Sunday morning we held a "Firefighter Skills Class Webinar" for our weekly Sunday Training. This training had our members logging onto their computers due to the COVID-19 pandemic as the Vista Fire Department continues with holding online learning.

This Sunday's "Firefighter Skills Class Webinar" had our Firefighting personnel going over Truck Company Operations with a review of size-up, search and rescue, initial ventilation (vertical and horizontal), laddering, and roof strategies. The review focused on coordinated ventilation, reading smoke, and VEIS procedures. This type of training is what will help our Firefighters who plan on attending the New York State Firefighter I program succeed in their class and for our Firefighters who have completed Firefighter I to keep up with their skills.
