This Sunday morning we held a "Motor Pump Operators & Firefighter Skills Class" for our weekly Sunday Training.

This Sunday's "Motor Pump Operators & Firefighter Skills Class" had our Firefighting personnel going through fire call scenarios while our prospective drivers practiced pumping Engine 141. Vista Firefighters practiced hose line advancement into a structure fire scenario while Engine 141 supplied the hose lines in operation. This type of training is what will help our prospective Apparatus drivers to become cleared drivers in our Department as well as Firefighters who plan on attending the New York State Firefighter I program succeed in their class, and for our Firefighters who have completed Firefighter I to keep up with their skills.
