During the 2025 Vista Fire Department Annual Inspection Dinner, Firefighter/EMT Tom Ritchey was honored for his remarkable 45 years of service.
Firefighter/EMT Ritchey joined the Vista Fire Department on April 3rd, 1980, and recently retired as Vista Fire District #1’s District Manager, a position he held for over 30 years. Known to many local students as “Fireman Tom” from his long-standing Fire Prevention Week program at Meadow Pond Elementary School, he has become a familiar and respected figure in our community.
In addition to his fire service, Firefighter/EMT Ritchey currently serves as a Police Officer with the Lewisboro Police Department and recently retired from the Pound Ridge Police Department.
