| This week's Monday night drill consisted of Search & Rescue + F.A.S.T. (Firefighter Assist and Search Team) training for our Firefighters. In the drill scenario, Vista Firefighters entered a small area room and performed techniques that would be used during search & rescue or F.A.S.T. operations.
Search & rescue operations is where Firefighters rescue civilians still inside a burning structure, while F.A.S.T. (Firefighter Assist and Search Team) training is the procedure of rescuing trapped or injured Firefighters during an emergency operation.
