This week's Monday Night Drill was "Firefighter Skills Stations" for our Firefighters and a "Special Needs Patients & Abdominal Emergencies CME" drill for our EMTs.

The "Firefighter Skills Stations" drill had our Firefighters visiting John Jay High School in the South Salem Fire District to work on several different skills throughout the evening. Training alongside the South Salem, Golden's Bridge & Croton Falls Fire Departments, our Firefighters performed skills such as ladder operations, search & rescue operations and hose line advancement. We would like to thank the South Salem Fire Department for hosting this week's drill and the Katonah-Lewisboro School District for letting us train at John Jay High School.

The "Special Needs Patients & Abdominal Emergencies CME" drill had our Vista EMS personnel continuing their medical education on how to treat special needs patients and abdominal emergencies. The class is part of our CME (Continuing Medical Education) Program so our EMTs can re-certify after their 3 years of certification for being an EMT expires.
